Currach is a two drawer desk with patinated brass handles and drawer inlays. Made from Irish Ash, finished with limeing wax. I wanted to try and capture the image of brass inlayed currach boats in contrast with bleached drift wood found on the beaches of ireland.

The inside of the drawers reminds the user of the tourquoise hues of the tempestuous Atlantic Sea.

The Desk organiser was made from offcuts which I ebonized, finished with wax and inlayed offcuts of the brass features to complement the desk.

All design, handwork and finishing was carried out by me.
